Memoir (and) is now accepting submissions for Issue 11. We look forward to receiving your prose, poetry, graphic memoirs or comix, experimental works, narrative photographs, and more. Deadline For This Submission Period
All submissions must either be uploaded to the Submission Manager by noon Pacific time, February 16, 2012 or, if sent by snail mail, bear a postmark no later than February 16, 2012. We will email you regarding the status of your submission within twenty weeks of the close of the submission period. If you did not give us an email address, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your submission so that we can reply to you via snail mail.

To Upload Your Submission:
1. Prepare your document:
      -Remove your name from all pages
      -Put the title at the top of the first page
      -Number the pages
      -Save the document in Word (.doc), RTF (.rtf) or Text (.txt) format.
2. New Users: Create an account using the form below, and attach your submission.
3. Existing Account Holders: Log into your account using the login form on the left, then upload your submission.

Why Do We Ask You to Take Your Name Off Your Submission?
Here at Memoir (and), we do "blind reading" of submissions. This means that your name is not revealed during the selection process. Submissions are evaluated on their individual merit. Our nonprofit mission includes giving equal opportunities to all submitters.

Is It Safe to Send You Work Without Your Name On It?
The Submission Manager is a database, and your login information (name, address, email, etc.) is permanently linked to your submission. There is no possibility we can misplace your submission, or mistake it as the work of someone else.

What Will Happen If You Upload a Submission That Has Your Name On It?
If we receive a document with your name on it, the Reader Coordinator will politely return it and request that you resubmit the same piece with the name removed.

If You Want to Include a Cover Letter or Other Personal Note
When you upload your work, you'll notice there is a Comments field. Type or paste your cover letter–or any comment you'd like–into that area.

We Now Offer Submission Critiques with Donations of $25 or More
